Washington,
Best Buy
Lying within the larger Columbia Valley Appellation, the Walla Walla wine region includes land in both Washington and Oregon -- from the far southeast corner of Washington State to the northeast tip of Oregon. Although almost all Walla Walla wineries are currently located in Washington, there are vineyards in both states.

L'Ecole 41 Cabernet Sauvignon
& Merlot Washington
Due to the exceptional quality of Cabernet Sauvignon fruit grown in this region, L'Ecole Nº 41 has been producing this full-bodied varietal since 1989. In style, they pick and ferment their Cabernet Sauvignon similarly to the Merlot, with small lot fermentations punched down by hand to control tannin and phenolics. It is aged 22 months in French and American oak barrels.

Quilceda Creek Red Wine Washingto
The 1999 Columbia Valley Red Wine has a broad, complex range of flavors. Intense black cherries and minerals backed by cedar, smoke and spice cascade across the taster’s palate. It is a medium-bodied wine with nice grip and sweetness to the fruit. Drink it over the next 10 years.
