Oregon,
Best Buy
Oregon wineries are generally small and decentralized within each official wine region of the state. They are often winemaker- or family-owned. Most Oregon wine regions lie in valleys between the southern Cascade Mountains that run through the state and its Coastal Range to the west.

Archery Summit Pinot Noir Willamette Valley, Oregon
Archery Summit's search to produce world-class Pinot Noir led them to the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Premier Cuvée, their proprietary blend, is made from both their oldest Pommard vines and Dijon clones 113, 114, 115, 667 and 777.
Deep ruby red in color, the 2005 Premier Cuvée opens with lifted aromas of red berries, violets, vanilla and a hint of savory spice.

Argyle, Oregon
Made from 100% Shiraz that spent 24 months in French oak (30% new), the exuberant, flamboyant 2004 The Factor offers up gorgeously pure blueberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with smoke, bacon fat, camphor, and graphite. Silky smooth, and, as David Powell says, “the most Barossa-like” of all his wines, it represents Powell’s rendition of a Cote Rotie.

Willamette Valley Vineyard, Oregon
Oregon's Willamette Valley Vineyard produces this Pinot Noir in limited quantities and only in vintage years where the grapes show excellent character and complexity. Willamette Valley Signature Cuvee is an elegant, complex wine with spicy berry flavors complimented by a touch of toasty oak.
