Santa Margherita has been based in the Veneto region since its foundation in the 1930s, where the climate is tempered by the nearby Adriatic Sea and seasonal temperature variations are moderate. In 1961, Santa Margherita’s enologist had the inspired idea of applying traditional white wine vinification techniques to the pink-hued Pinot Grigio grapes of Trentino Alto Adige. Pioneering the Pinot Grigio category in America with Santa Margherita, Anthony Terlato created the most successful brand and established Pinot Grigio as a much-loved varietal around the world. Crisp, elegant Santa Margherita remains the leading Pinot Grigio brand and still captures the imagination of wine lovers across the country.
Santa Margherita Merlot 2012 Versato means highly skilled and competent in Italian. This Merlot is created exclusively from the grapes grown in the Eastern part of the Veneto region, where the moderate climate and clay soil allows for slow ripening of the grapes and maximum flavor development.
Deep, brilliant ruby red color. A delicate full nose with ripe morello cherries and plums against a floral background of violets, with just a hint of vanilla. Broad flavors with intense, mouth-filling fruit, and tannins that integrate well with the wine's fresh acidity Price:

Margherita Pinot Grigio 2013
Pinot Grigio grapes skins of Trentino Alto Adige, are immediately separated from the must in the pressing phase and thus preventing them from yielding the (until then) classic rusty color. Thus was created this innovative white wine which, with its characteristics of a fresh, fragrant bouquet and versatile taste, represented a real revolution for the wine sector. Ever since, it has continued to gain popularity and accolades both in Italy and abroad, maintaining its strong position of leadership among D.O.C. Pinot Grigios.
This dry white wine has a straw yellow color. Its clean, intense aroma and bone-dry taste (with an appealing flavor of Golden Delicious apples) make Santa Margherita’s Pinot Grigio a wine of great personality and versatility.
Excellent as an aperitif, and ideal with seafood salads or pasta and rice dishes based on fish and shellfish. Also perfect with white meats, boiled or grilled fish and soufflés.

Santa Margarita Prosecco Nestled in the Valdobbiadene hills of the eastern Veneto is one of the most wonderful wine growing regions. The origins of Prosecco are lost in the mists of time: it certainly did not establish itself in any major way until towards the end of the 19th century. This is home to a grape variety native to Veneto -- Prosecco. Prosecco is used to make a highly flavored dry and delicate sparkling wine. With peach and apple aromas, this fresh and balanced sparkling wine has fine perlage with a refreshing finish. Straw yellow
Lively vinosity characterized by a fine fruity fragrance and an elegant long-lived perlage.
It is pleasantly dry with a well-balanced acidity, which makes the wine fresh and lively.
Prosecco can be drunk throughout a meal if served with delicately flavored dishes. Prosecco di Valdobbiadene is excellent as an aperitif, ideal with seafood dishes and after meals with light desserts. Price:
