La Fiera Montepulciano 2013 Heading due east from Rome lays the region of Abruzzo. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo was designated as a DOC in 1968. It covers most of Abruzzo ranging from Molise in the south, the Marche in the north and inland against the Apennines Mountains. The wines are at least 85% Montepulciano (with Sangiovese permitted). In parts of the Abruzzi, most notably in the low hills of the northern province of Teramo, Montepulciano becomes a red of irresistible character — full-bodied, even robust, with a capacity to age but with such supple smoothness that it can be eminently drinkable even when young.
Harvesting took place in the end of September/beginning of October. Traditional red wine vinification occurs at a controlled temperature between 77º and 80º F.
La Fiera Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is a deep, ruby red with violet highlights and a pleasant and fruity bouquet. On the palate, it is dry and round. The finish is full-bodied with soft tannins and good acidity. Price:

La Fiera Moscato Puglia is a region in southeastern Italy that forms the “heel of the boot”. It is situated along bodies of water on most of its borders, including the Adriatic Sea to the East. Known as the least mountainous region in Italy, Puglia is mainly covered by broad plains and low-lying hills. It is a hot and dry climate with few rivers, but an abundance of ground water reserves formed from rain permeating the limestone soils allows for excellent viticulture.
The must is not left on the skins to avoid its acquiring their rust-red color. After soft-pressing the must is left to ferment at a temperature between 18-20°C in stainless steel vats. The wine is then stored at 17-18°C in special stainless-steel tanks until bottling.
La Fiera Moscato is a soft white wine with flavors of apricot and peach in its fruity bouquet. The pallet is sweet and crisp with a hint of spritz.

La Fiera Pinot Grigio 2013 Venice’s region is Italy’s leader in the production and commerce of classified wine. Throughout the region the recent emphasis is on white wines and is ideally suited for the Pinot Grigio grape, where the particular composition of the hilly soil, the exposition to sun, the frequent rains and the constantly mild temperature between April and October combine to provide the best conditions.
The grapes are pressed cool and the must is immediately removed from the skins to avoid acquiring their rust-red color. After this soft-pressing the must is left to ferment for about 15-20 days at a low temperature between 60-64° F in stainless steel vats. The wine is then stored at 64-68° F under a blanket of inert gas in special stainless-steel tanks until bottling.
It has straw color with a fruity bouquet filled with apples and pears. The palate is dry, soft and well balanced with a lingering acidity. Price:
