The Buccis have owned a magnificent 990-acre property since the early 1800s. The Bucci family's 300 years in viniculture are an impressive heritage, which Ampelio Bucci brilliantly administers. Ampelio himself is a man of multiple talents. Ampelio flanked by one of the founding fathers of contemporary Italian winemaking, Giorgio Grai, has succeeded in maintaining the best of tradition, while revolutionizing quite a few of Italy’s classic winemaking tenets. One of the key factors in Bucci
excellence is the top-notch vineyard management. The vines are very old with an
average of 37 years, and cultivation is entirely organic.
