winery is completely family-run and on any given day you will see a number of Nuss family members harvesting, winemaking, bottling, and working hospitality for the brand.
Twenty Rows winery is very much a family affair – for a number of years Twenty Rows shared the winery facility with other wineries including Robert Craig but after the other wineries moved their operations Twenty Rows took over sole ownership of the facility.
Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine come from two vineyard sources in the Napa Valley, Howel Mountain and the Yountville foothills. Rigorous vineyard management and traditional viticulture and eonological techniques are utilized in building the wines of Twenty Rows. Sourced from Mt. Veeder and Yountville, the wine opens up with dark cherries and black currants. Then shows hints of chocolate, tobacco and graphite. Dense texture and a fine sense of balance enhance the pleasing aromatics of blackberry and vanilla bean. Enjoy Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon with a grilled steak, roast beef, sauteed Portobello mushrooms, or aged cheeses.

It, Now! l
Napa Valley runs southeast to northwest for approximately 30 miles. It spreads up to five miles wide, narrowing to a mere mile at Calistoga, where it’s pinched off by Mount St. Helena.
Those mountains define its borders: the Mayacamas, whose peaks are sufficiently high enough to see snow in winter, on the west, and the Vaca on the east. Both are the result of tectonic uplifting and volcanic activity.
