 Sterling Vineyards began producing wine in 1969, including the very first vintage dated Napa Valley Merlot. That historic Merlot brought widespread recognition to Sterling Vineyards and epitomized a commitment to innovation and quality that has been maintained for over three decades. Sterling Vineyards owns and farms over 1,000 acres of prime Napa Valley vineyards, from high on Diamond Mountain in the north, to the reputed Winery Lake Vineyard in the Carneros to the south. Visitors to the Mediterranean style winery are carried by aerial tram over the treetops to the winery, which is perched at the summit of the Napa Valley.
Sterling Vineyards wines have a signature style that is easy
to recognize and to enjoy. When you taste a Sterling wine from Reserve to
Sterling Vintner’s Collection, you will be drinking an authentic expression of
the grape, the land where it is grown and the year in which it was grown.
