Raymond has chosen vineyard properties in two important regions of California – Napa Valley and Monterey county. Both of these regions are excellent for growing wine grapes because of the balance of important weather factors – sunshine, rainfall, and temperature. Roy and Craig Raymond agreed, "Our wet winters, moderate springs, warm and fog-cooled summers, and the hot, dry autumns make Northern California one of the most favored areas in the world to grow winegrapes. This is surely the place where the vine is meant to reach its peak of quality."

throughout the Napa Valley . Rich, ripe fruit characteristics are evident in all
the wines, balanced by the influence from oak aging. The consistently superb

Grown in the middle region of Napa Valley, the fruit selected for Raymond
Napa Valley Reserve Sauvignon Blanc displays classic herbal
characteristics. Blended with a small percentage of Semillon for added
fruitiness and depth, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and barrel
aged for three months.
