Antica family’s long, storied winemaking history has long been synonymous with the regions of Tuscany and Umbria, but
their passion for innovation has led them in a quest to promote new terroirs rich with winegrowing potential… like Napa Valley. Antica is a symbol for Antinori California and expresses in Italian
their family's passion for winemaking passed along 26 generations.
The Antica Napa Valley Chardonnay is pure, fresh, and complex. One of the most unique Chardonnays being made in California. It shows gorgeous textural finesse and fabulous overall balance. The signature Napa Valley richness is there, but in a cooler, more mineral-driven style. Smoke, crushed rocks and citrus are layered into the vibrant finish. Aromas of crushed stone fruit are interwoven with flavors of pear, apple, white peach, and a signature terroir-driven minerality. The bouquet shows notes of baking spices and honeysuckle. The mouth feel is rounded but not too soft and the finish is clean and lingers delicately. Hazelnut and vanilla add layers of intensity and intrigue

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has a lovely crimson color, brambly red fruit and
toasty aromatics, and a medium-bodied, silky texture with present but
fine-grained tannins. The Townsend Vineyard fruit on this Antinori Estate on
Atlas Peak, is farmed at 1,460 feet elevation. It has deep concentration and
rich, bold character. Chief Enologist Renzo Cotarella carefully constructed a
stunningly successful Cab aging 15 months in new French oak barrels. Wine
Advocate scored it 91-93 saying "The estate’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon wraps
around the palate with lovely depth in its expressive, resonant fruit, showing
no hard edges and excellent balance. Espresso, mocha, plums, cloves and freshly
cut flowers are all layered into the vibrant, delineated finish. The energy and
tension of the 2011 are super-impressive.

Antica Napa Valley
Antica Napa Valley is a breathtaking estate set high in the eastern mountains of the Napa Valley. Located in the remote Atlas Peak District, the 550-acre estate produces only small lots of wines, a testament to the discipline and care of the Antinori Family. This property is owned by the Antorini Family from Italy. This family has an amazing story and history. They own one of the world’s 5 oldest family businesses and trace their wine business back to the year 1385 and another 200 years before that in finance. That’s more than 6 centuries, or in their case 26 generations of involvement in the wine industry. Its hilly terrain, rocky soils, high elevations and beautiful landscape create above all an estate ideal for winegrowing.
