The early 1980's emergence of Chardonnay as the world's
favorite white wine grape variety coincided with Rosemount's 1980 Show Reserve Chardonnay winning a rare Double Gold Medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, England. This wine and Penfold's Grange are the only two Australian wines to have ever received this accolade. Such was the trade and public response to the recognition of quality that it set Rosemount as an international force in premium wine, encouraging Bob to establish an office in the UK in 1983 and thence to America in 1985.
Rosemount Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Diamond Label
The blending of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot is one of the world’s classic varietal combinations. Perhaps most famously embraced in the Medoc region of Bordeaux it is also common in Australia, California and other New World wine producing countries. The classic blackcurrant flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon, with its telltale bramble leaf aromas, contract perfectly with the rich, plummy fruit of Merlot to form a delicious wine of distinction and style. This wine combines 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Merlot, giving clear, identifiable varietal characters from both sides of the blend.
Dark plum colorwith vibrant purple hues. The nose is fruit driven and lifted with aromas spanning blackcurrant and plum through to red cherry and spice.
The Cabernet Sauvignon lends rich blackcurrant fruit, savory complexity and structure, whilst the Merlot provides a ripe mid-palate and a velvety, plummy softness to the finish.

Rosemount Traminer Riesling Diamond Label
Traminer Riesling is a delicious blend of two of the world's most expressive and flavorsome grape varieties. Traminer - also known as Gewurztraminer - has a spicy, tropical fruit aroma reminiscent of lychees and exotic scent, with a generous, soft palate. The Riesling component adds elegance to the finish, with lifted, floral flavors and a fine acidity which balances the wine to perfection.
Light straw with lime highlights. A perfumed nose with touches of Traminer spice followed by the floral lift of Riesling. The palate shows lovely floral flavors with hints of rose petal, perfumed fruit and spice. There is a soft, even, acid balance right across the whole palate that pre-empts the lengthy finish.

Rosemount Shiraz 2010
The model all-market wine, with popularity that seems to have no boundaries. In this vintage, it delivers crushed berry and spicy anise aromatics, richness, mouthfeel and a tasty medium-length finish. A wine for the grill, a party, you name it—this Shiraz shows no faults. Inky dark in color with a big dark berry nose that jumps out at you the minute the cork is popped. On the mid pallet the wine displays big dark berries with loads of fruit coming through. On the medium length finish the wine has some nice dry tannins and a bit of spicyness. It’s a crowd-pleaser deluxe. Best Buy
