This gift includes: a 2001 Grand Archer Sonoma County Chardonnay (with
aromas of fresh Gravenstein apples, peaches, melon and a hint of citrus in
the background, long luscious flavors of melon, apple, peach and pear
finish this wine), a 2000 Grand Archer Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon
(mouthwatering aromas of dark cherry, plum, cassis and mingling hints of
cedar and oak define this complex wine), and a 2000 Grand Archer Merlot
(intense concentrated flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry,
standing out against a backdrop of creamy vanilla and warm brown spice).
Wine arrives in wood crate engraved with vineyard motif. Gift measures 16"

2001 Grand Archer Chardonnay
This wine is the color of light straw in the glass and has an unusually tart nose, with aromas of wet stones, chalk, and unripe mango or other tropical fruits. In the mouth it does an about face from its clean crisp aromas and comes through with rich musky flavors of honey, some floral elements, dried nuts, and toasted oak. The finish is reasonable and clean.
