French Sparkling Wine
Founded in 1851 by Etienne Bouvet, Bouvet-Ladubay is the second-oldest firm
in Saumur. By the turn of the century, the firm had become France's largest
producer of methode champenoise sparkling wines, with a smaller affiliated
branch in Epernay and a combined volume of seven million bottles annually.
However, the untimely deaths of Bouvet's heirs finally led, in 1933, to the sale
of the Saumur property to Justin Monmousseau. Two generations later, Patrice
Monmousseau continues to maintain the hallmark of excellence established by
Etienne Bouvet over a century ago.
Chenin Blanc Grape
This is a delicious sparkler produced in the Loire Valley from the lightly
floral, honeyed Chenin Blanc grape. Serve it well chilled, and enjoy a few
bottles in the garden over the weekend. Try it with white fish, smoked salmon,
lobster, light chicken salads or a simple plate of pasta.
Loire Valley Sparkling Wine
Made by the methode champenoise from a blend of 100% Chenin Blanc grapes
grown in the chalky soils of the Saumur region, Bouvet Signature Brut exhibits

constitutes the largest-selling range of sparkling wines from the Loire Valley.
