Ramos Pinto Tawny Port 10 Year Old
This tawny is a blend with an average age of 10 years. We are now entering the complex world of an aged tawny. Its brick-red, even golden shades transport us to the Orient of spices, piquant and exotic aromas, with all its mysteries. This is where the magical path towards the 20 Years and the 30 Years begins. Its body and its richness of flavor transport to the place where it was created - "Quinta de Ervamoira". It is in this mystical, biblical landscape that this wine is extracted from the schist, from the silence, for your delight.

Ramos Pinto Tawny Port
30 Year Old
Several battles were won with other types of tawny, but ultimate victory came within sight with the 20 years Port and the war was finally won with the 30 years.
Harmonizing these old wines, which are full of personality and character, is not an easy task. In the tasting room, decisions are very difficult. Here nature gives place to knowledge, to a serene and wise wine, which, like a kind old man, tells grandiose stories to the young. Earthly passions give way to volatile, wood-scented ambiences, free from the schist, from the redness. It is a dive into an ethereal, limpid world, performed at the unique and constant rhythm of a Port Wine Cellar.

The Quinta do Bom Retiro exists in a unique setting in the world, the Douro.
Extended in the 18th century by Luís Beleza de Andrade, one of the founders of the Pombaline Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro, and bought in 1919 by Casa Ramos Pinto, this Quinta is one of the oldest and most typical in the region, still conserving the uniqueness of its original architecture, as well as the beauty and wealth of its landscape.
From the time it was acquired and up to the present day it is one of the privileged sites to receive guests.
Surrounded by traditional vines, the Quinta do Bom Retiro lies in the heart of a sumptuous garden built many decades ago, with a swimming pool which is one of the oldest in the Douro and fruit and exotic trees brought from different corners of the world.

Right from the start, Casa Ramos Pinto established a strict self-production policy, meaning that it only produces wines with grapes from its own estates.
With plenty of determination and substantial investment, Ramos Pinto has set planting targets that it has managed to meet over the years.
